The Kira Pantaloons are made from a hand-loomed fabric I bought years ago while traveling through Bhutan. This is the last of my Bhutanese fabrics. They are one of a kind, like everything else here.
The women take a large swathe of fabric (much like in India with the Sari) and wrap it around them and clip it with beautiful silver clips to fasten it tight. They call this wrap a Kira. The yellow interior of the pant legs give it more volume and pop of color. The last few photos show how they are worn in Buhtan. These fit a Medium dancer but ALL PANTALOONS AND SOME BELTS AND SHAWLS CAN BE ADJUSTED FOR A CUSTOM FIT - IF YOU SEND ME YOUR MEASUREMENTS!
